I started with the frameworks. Scripts, inductions, relaxation tracks—all neatly outlined and ready to apply. But the more I practiced traditional hypnotherapy, the more something felt off.
Clients would experience small shifts, sure. But I always left wondering: Was that really it? Was that single moment of temporary relief what transformation was supposed to feel like?
There were too many moving parts. I’d prep endlessly—writing scripts, anticipating responses, editing audio—and still, I couldn’t always tell what made the change (if it happened at all). It felt like performance, not presence. I wasn’t connecting with the human in front of me—I was executing a series of predetermined steps, hoping the pieces would fall into place.
The turning point came when I realized I was more focused on doing it “right” than being truly effective. It wasn’t the clients that were the problem—it was the method. Something deeper was calling for a different way of working.
That’s what led me to Advanced Conversational Hypnosis (ACH). No more tools to hide behind. No more garden path inductions or tests for suggestibility. Just deep listening, precise awareness, and trust in the mind’s own ability to unravel what’s no longer needed.
ACH taught me how to be with my clients in real time. I started seeing genuine transformations—unexpected insights, emotion-led breakthroughs, and clarity that arose without force. Sessions became less about what I was saying, and more about what I was noticing.
The shift wasn’t just in my technique—it was in how I showed up. And that made all the difference. If you’ve ever felt boxed in by hypnotherapy as you were taught it, know this: there’s a way to work that’s both simpler and far more effective. The magic happens when you let go of needing control—and learn to trust what unfolds instead.
